On December 3, 2024, the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission issued additional supervisory control measures for organic products for the year 2025. Compared with the additional supervisory measures from the past two years, the supervisory measures for 2025 have adjusted the scope of products under supervision. - The implementation period is from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025;

- After the controlled products are stocked, they shouldAfter the controlled products are stocked, they should, and the organization will assign and the organization will assign inspectors or third-party laboratories to conduct sampling inspections.
- Upon passing the inspection, the sampling report and testing report should be submitted along with the application for the Certificate of Inspection (COI) for organic products exported to Europe.
- Operators of controlled products (including production, processing, trade, storage, and sales) must undergo at least two on-site inspections, one of which will be an unannounced inspection.
- During the on-site inspection of controlled products, at least one unharvested crop sample must be taken for testing. For non-planting operators, sampling tests should be conducted on raw materials, intermediate products, or finished processed products.
- For production bases producing controlled products and applying for EU organic certification for the first time (including the first year of the conversion period), the on-site inspection must be completed before the sowing in 2025.
- Products found to contain prohibited substances cannot be sold as EU organic products.
