This regulation amends Regulation EU 2021/1698 by introducing a new Article 30a, which allows for the issuance of Certificates of Inspection (CoIs) under the EU-Equivalence until October 15, 2025. The allowance is that for operators not yet certified to Regulation EU 2018/848 and its secondary acts by the end of 2024, the above-mentioned certification bodies may issue CoIs with reference to Art. 33(3) of Reg.
