In order to respond to the additional special regulations issued by the European Commission targeting Chinese enterprises in early 2019, FOFCC shouldered unprecedented work pressure, mobilized all staff, and made every effort to complete the European Commission's requirements on time and as required, striving to ensure the smooth flow of export channels for certified organic products to Europe.
Under such tense conditions, in September 2019, FOFCC still selected and dispatched two inspectors to fly to Thailand and Indonesia respectively to conduct on-site inspections of the organic coconut cultivation, organic coconut sugar processing, organic palm fruit production, and organic palm oil pressing processes of two companies in Southeast Asia. During the inspections, FOFCC's inspectors fully demonstrated their professional advantages, applied their rich inspection experience, and through meticulous on-site inspections, successfully completed the inspection tasks. The non-conformities raised were to the point and fully supported by evidence, and the inspection conclusions were accepted and recognized by the overseas certification clients.文章源自FOFCC-http://www.fofcc.org.cn/en/11740/

Through this on-site inspection, FOFCC expanded its overseas business footprint, tempered its team, and further enhanced the inspectors' knowledge and experience. As of the end of September 2019, FOFCC had issued more than 40 overseas audit tasks. Next, FOFCC will begin preparations for training on the 2019 edition of the Implementation Rules for Organic Product Certification and GB/T 19630-2019, and will promptly communicate to overseas certified organizations the updates to China's organic product regulations as well as new rules and requirements for imported organic products.文章源自FOFCC-http://www.fofcc.org.cn/en/11740/
